CT Beach

It's tough to find a nice not overly crowded beach around here, the best seem to be up in Connecticut. When we first got there, there was a little sand island quite a few yards of the shore. we tried to set up there, but the tide came in pretty quick and we ended up having to move way up shore. The kids really had fun with the sea gulls. Paris would call them "here, birdie, birdie" and Lex even shrank to their size! Of course Evey and Jon had to build a sand castle and dig down to water level. I don't think they ever got down that far.
We even got to see a sail boat race. You can see Long Island in the distance. Sadly, this was our last trip before the move. Sniffle! We'll miss the ocean!
